Places to Stay
There are three general options for places to stay: Guest houses that are managed by religious institutions, such as St. George's Guest House; Full service hotels that are rated according to Western hotel standards; and Hostels.
AFEDJ encourages you use Christian-owned hotels to lend moral and financial support to the Christian presence in the Holy Land.
The Episcopal Diocese runs three guest houses in Palestine and Israel: St George's Guest House in Jerusalem, St Margaret’s Guest house in Nazareth, and St Andrew’s Guesthouse in Ramallah.
Near St. George’s Cathedral

Most of the rooms are double occupancy. There is a lovely stone terrace for meals outdoors when the weather is pleasant and an indoor dining area and gift shop. Some rooms in need of renovation.

Meals are simple and hearty; breakfast is French, continental style. There is a chapel within its walls and a first century excavation in the deepest environs of the building.
